About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Garage Door Installer to join our team in Tucson, Arizona. This is a 1099 independent contractor position with a competitive rate of $75,000 per year, paid per job. You will play a critical role in ensuring customer satisfaction and safety by installing and repairing residential garage doors with precision and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

• Install and repair residential garage doors and components with precision and attention to detail.
• Diagnose issues and provide effective solutions, ensuring optimal performance of installed systems.
• Conduct regular inspections and maintenance to assess working condition and safety.
• Document services performed and provide detailed reports to customers.
• Maintain a clean, organized work environment while following safety regulations and best practices.
• Collaborate with the customer service team to manage installation schedules and service calls.
• Provide training and mentorship to junior technicians when needed.

Required & Preferred Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Proven experience in garage door installation and repair (2+ years preferred).
• Strong mechanical skills and understanding of garage door systems.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and safety awareness.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• OSHA certification or other relevant safety certifications is a plus.

This is a 1099 independent contractor position with pay per job. You will report directly to the Installation Manager and collaborate across departments to enhance service delivery.
